This, added to the fact that there were many partial deliveries that would just increase the inventory, reduced the use of storage spaces and generated unnecessary extra costs.

Therefore, the customs dispatch time had to be close to immediate in order to keep the preservation costs in the low end.
Based on the effected analysis, it was detected that, in spite of the fact that the Mexican shipper was sending the commercial documentation on time, the days spent at the border were insufficiently few, since the shipments were sent normally during weekends and would arrive at the border with a very small timeframe for the dispatch, considering they normally had to stay halted during non-business days.
Together with the client, we got to make a planning of the cargo dates in order for them to be at the beginning of the business week, arrive at the border around mid-week and be dispatched for their arrival to the final destination the next Monday, first thing in the morning, which prevented the payment of extra costs of 1000 USD per shipment, and gave the company the capacity to ensure an on time delivery of the perishable drugs.
